Cruise Ship Territory Wildlife Park Tour

Wild Territory
A Guided Wildlife Adventure at Territory Wildlife Park
Australia’s wildlife. Up close. Without the chaos.
Wild Territory is a fully guided experience through the Territory Wildlife Park — the ultimate introduction to the unique plants, animals and ecosystems that define the Top End.
Perfect for families, couples, solo travellers and cruise guests, this is a full day of discovery, conservation and connection — delivered the Ethical Adventures way.
From Wharf to Wild
We’ll collect you directly from the Darwin Cruise Terminal and travel 45 minutes south to the spectacular Territory Wildlife Park.
Along the way, quiz your guide, learn about the landscapes you’re passing through and get ready for a day immersed in Top End biodiversity.
By the time we arrive, you won’t just be visiting a park — you’ll understand the country it represents.
Your Comfort Matters – Whatever the Weather
The Top End can turn it on — bright blue skies one minute, tropical downpour the next.
Movement throughout the park will be in our private air-conditioned vehicle, making this tour ideal for stormy days, humid build-up weather or simply staying cool between exhibits.
You’re not relying solely on public transport or long exposed walks — we’ve got comfortable, climate-controlled touring covered.
Of course, if you’d prefer to stretch the legs, you’re welcome to explore sections on foot too. It’s your day, your pace.

A Sanctuary Showcasing the Best of the Top End
From monsoon rainforest to wetlands, aviaries to aquariums — this sanctuary brings together the habitats that make Northern Australia extraordinary.
After a comprehensive orientation, your dedicated guide will navigate you through the park’s highlights and hidden treasures.
Prefer some solo exploring? No worries. We’ll make sure you know where to be and when — then you can wander freely.
Wildlife Shows & Wild Encounters
The park offers engaging presentations and encounters throughout the day, including:
- Birds of Prey Show
- Breakfast with the Pelicans
- Whip Rays at Oolloo Sandbar
- Optional ‘Wild Encounter’ experiences like feeding a monster Barramundi (additional cost on the day)
This is wildlife education done properly — immersive, ethical and grounded in conservation values .
Explore Your Way
- Walk the trails at a relaxed pace
- Use the park facilities and café
- Or take advantage of the complimentary hop-on / hop-off shuttle train operating throughout the day
